One way for any law office to keep its employees engaged is to offer them competitive benefits and perks.
Did you know that 4 in 5 employees would rather have new benefits over a pay raise? That statistic surprised me, too.
As you’ll see in this installment of the Like a Boss infographic series, something much less surprising is that benefits can be an important factor in a person’s decision to come to work for your firm.
Turns out there are also some pretty unique and highly rated benefits that are not very expensive to provide. I’m having a hard time envisioning improv classes in most law firms where I’ve worked, but they would be great for reducing tension and increasing people’s ability to think on their feet, which is a much needed lawyer skill. Let me know if you try that one and how it works out.
If this is your first peek at a Like a Boss infographic, be sure to go back and review the series for even more great information about the important role of the boss in employee engagement and those traits and behaviors employees most desire in their bosses.
